My first trip to Glasgow would not have been complete without a trip to a scotch distillery. Auchentoshan happens to only be about 30 minutes outside Glasgow so I went out with a couple friends for a quick tour. I found out that the tours were £10 a person which was easy and then you have a tasting at the end. The real gem here and one that I will definitely not forget is the ability to spend an additional £90 and you can go back into the barrel room and pull your own bottle from the cask. You then get it labeled with your name and date. I also brought back a couple bottles that you can only get there. The only triple distilled scotch in Scotland, it is really smooth and was a treat to have at the distillery.
