Crimson Whiskey Bar

I am not normally a fan of bars in hotels but this one I will say you could go to and should go back to.  In the basement of the Pod hotel in Chinatown there is a nice whiskey selection and as usual I started testing with the old fashioned.  It was well made although nothing phenomenal.  I would say to go for the ambiance.  There was a solo guitarist playing when we were there at a nice level that we could talk and still have the music.  There is a small drought beer list but they have regular favorites like Port City Optimal Wit.  If you are doing a show or game at Capital One Arena this is just around the corner so its easy to meet friends before or after.
