A small hidden bar that is through a Lalique door just off the lobby of Claridge’s, while not technically a speakeasy The Fumoir (#242) it has the vibe. Tall ceiling and dark walls with a beautifully lit wall behind the bar this is just a beauty of a bar. There are only three seats at the bar and a hand full of tables in the main room with another small room attached as well that actually attaches to the main lobby bar. Nice jazz music in the background that adds ambiance without being too loud to have a conversation over. Some very interesting selections of drinks and a rather small food menu. Prices are not low but seem worth it as I tried the Coffee Boulevardier…
This was a first for me it had a ice pyramid of pure coffee that dissolved into the drink over time, it slowly changes the flavor but just makes it better and better. Rather amazing drink to be honest, possibly my new favorite.
